$TREAT · on solana
Every hour the house answers the door. Treat: one knocker takes the whole pot. Trick: it rolls over, bigger.
midnight round in …practice night
Knock on the door.
Every hour the house answers. Half the time it's a treat, half the time it's a trick. Practice now; real knocks with $TREAT open at launch.
Knock three times. The house decides.
the pot
Every trade feeds the cauldron.
90% of every $TREAT trading fee drops into the pot, in SOL. A treat empties it into one knocker's wallet. A trick lets it boil another hour.
psst: stir it.
the rules
Four rules, set in stone.
Knock
Lock some $TREAT in the candy bag for the hour. More candy, better odds. You get it all back after the draw.
The bell tolls
At the top of the hour anyone can ring the bell. A Solana slot hash, picked after the hour closes, decides the door.
Treat
One knocker wins the entire pot in SOL. Your odds are your share of the candy in the bag.
Trick
Nobody wins. The pot rolls over to the next hour, and the next, until a treat cracks it open.
the midnight round
At midnight, the last door always opens.
The final round of Halloween is a guaranteed treat. Knock in the last hour before midnight (US Eastern), and one of you takes the whole pot, however many tricks came before.
the street
One house for every hour.
Treats light up with the winner's haul. Tricks get egged. The lights come on at launch.
whispers
Questions from the dark.
Can I lose my $TREAT by knocking?
No. Knocking locks your $TREAT in the candy bag for one hour. After the draw you take it all back, win or lose. The only thing that changes hands is the pot.
Who picks the winner?
Nobody. When the hour closes, anyone can ring the bell. That commits to a Solana slot a few seconds in the future, and its hash decides trick or treat and which piece of candy wins. Nobody can know it in advance, and the one remaining edge (a block producer skipping its own slot) is tiny next to an hourly pot.
Where does the pot come from?
From trading. 90% of every $TREAT trading fee goes to the pot, in SOL, through a program address no wallet controls. 10% goes to the dev.
What if nobody knocks in an hour?
Then there is no draw, and the pot just keeps boiling for the next hour.
What's the Midnight Round?
The last round of Halloween, ending at midnight US Eastern on Oct 31. It is always a treat: one knocker takes the whole pot, however many tricks came before.
And after Halloween?
The doors keep opening every hour. Midnight was the only guaranteed treat; after that it's back to the coin flip.
